Here we have a number of different beats that I have created for you to practice your Bass skills to.

They are at different beats per minute (BPM) and are in different styles. A good solid beat is fundamental for a Bass player to practice with. At the moment, I have three siganatures (4/4, 3/4, 5/4) at three different speeds (80, 100, 120, 140 BPM). If you have no idea how to count time signatures, check out this lesson here, and here.

Heya, guys.  Check out this drum track generator I found.  I’ve only had a little play of it, but it seems pretty good for people that just want to practise their timing.  It’s a little more fun than a metronome, as you can program the thing yourself…

They also have an online beat library.  Enjoy!

(This would be perfect to use alongside my Beginners Bass Evolved lesson)
