Hey Kris,
I’ve watched this riff a bunch and I’m having problems figuring out the timing of the end part. From what I understand, the root, the slide pop, and the hammer-on on the A string are all on the beat.
The last section has the quick mute pop, the hammer on 7-9 on the G, and the muted slap, pop. This is 5 notes trying to fit into the space of 4, and you play it so fast with the beat that I can’t figure out where they go. If you take out the first pop, you can just play it as 4 16th notes, but… Is the hammer on (7 and 9) supposed to be 32nd notes? Or is the last slap/pop 32nd notes? I’m confused.
Thanks for your help, and I love the videos.
